DiverseCity Leadership Project: Train the Trainer Workshop in Peel Nov 9th 1pm to 5pm

Are you a leader interested in facilitating a dialogue on leadership and diversity in your organization or community?   DiverseCity Perspectives, one of the eight programs of DiverseCity: The Greater Toronto Leadership Project, aims to promote diversity in leadership by encouraging dialogue. 

What does it mean to be a leader in an organization that reflects the diversity of the GTA? What opportunities do we have to imagine leaders in new ways? Through dialogue on such questions, we will explore perspectives on transforming leadership.

 This  “train-the-trainer” workshop on November 9th from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Living Arts Centre is designed for those willing to lead their own dialogues inside and/or outside their organizations. This opportunity would be suitable for board volunteers or staff members of nonprofit organizations.   The workshop will include:

• Introduction to DiverseCity: The Greater Toronto Leadership Project

• Introduction to “dialogue” as a tool for advancing diverse leadership

• Dialogue demonstration

• Facilitation tips and next steps on planning a dialogue
